Founder’s Note from Drew

On the 1st of August 2023, I got the keys to what would become Karve’s first workshop — a space I had dreamt of for years. That same day, everything changed.

While working on-site, I fell through a roof. The injuries were severe: two brain bleeds, a fractured skull, broken hips, pelvis, and wrists, along with bruised lungs and kidneys.

Recovery was long, uncertain, and humbling. But with the unwavering support of my wife Beth and our two young sons, Rowan and Dylan, I began to rebuild — not just physically, but with purpose.

Karve is that purpose.

Born from a background in art, carpentry, and bespoke spray finishing, Karve combines creativity with precision. It’s a return to what matters most — craftsmanship, design, and family.

This isn’t just a business. It’s a second chance. A family-run studio built on resilience, care, and years of experience — and we bring that same commitment to every project we take on.
